The problem: Climate action is limited by systemic barriers of inequality in terms of impact and access to resources.
Target Groups: Community groups in a cross section of rural and urban centres.
Geographic Area: Nationwide (Ireland).
Partners (joint): University College Dublin, Waypoint.
Solution: Use the design and construction of rainwater gardens as means of building community capacity in design thinking and effective collective action, increase connectivity within and between communities and deepen understanding of how nature based solutions can be used in climate action.
Funders: TBC
Impact forecasted: Local communities have the capacity to work collectively and to deploy nature based solutions to other environmental challenges.
